Physical Agility Test

Applicants will begin the test seated in a patrol vehicle.  The applicant may begin the test after a ready signal has been given.  Time will begin when the applicant opens the patrol vehicle door.  The applicant will exit the vehicle and complete the following course:

•     100 meter sprint on pavement

•     30 meter run negotiating uneven ground and barriers

•     Negotiate balance tube

•     Negotiate low jump barrier and low crawl barrier

•     Maneuver through side step barrier

•     Scale a simulated chain link (4 ft.)

•     Scale a simulated privacy fence (6 ft.)

•     Sprint to the finish line

Time will be stopped when the applicant reaches the designated finish line and completes the assignment given by the test administrator (touch a certain object or move an object to a designated place).

All applicants must successfully complete the course in the minimum allotted time (TBA).  Failing to negotiate any obstacle or failing to cross the finish line in the allotted time will constitute failure and applicants will not be allowed to proceed in the testing process.
