HEB Helping Heros

On Friday, September 9, 2005, volunteers from the Ennis H-E-B Store adopted the Ennis Fire Department Station # 2 as a part of their Spirit2Share project.   The volunteers came to serve the firefighters and to pay tribute to those who risked and lost their lives on September 11, 2005 at the World Trade Center.

The Ennis H-E-B Team was led by Janie Mraz, and her team members were: Pete Kessler, Courtney Barton, Gary Macalik and Edward Quintana.   They brought in food and prepared a delicious breakfast.   They served the breakfast and we enjoyed food and fellowship.   We were honored to have their service and company, but we also became aware of how dedicated and committed the H-E-B employees are to community service.

The Ennis Fire Department thanks the Ennis H-E-B employees for this day of service, and we look forward to working with them in the future.
