Jodie W. Harbert, Jr.
Lifetime Achievement Award


This award was presented to Jodie W. Harbert, Jr. on June 6, 1996 for Lifetime Achievement. Firefighter Harbert joined the Ennis Fire Department in 1946, and at the time of presentation had served 50 Years. Firefighter Harbert is still active today and performs many auxiliary functions.
Firefighter Harbert has dedicated his life and service to helping others. Jodie Harbert's accomplishments should be a goal for all firefighters that follow.

Medal of Honor

This is the "Highest" Medal given by the Ennis Fire Department. The Medal of Honor is given for: An act of bravery, taken while under great risk of personal injury, that results in the saving of human life.

Medal of Valor

This is the "Second Highest" Medal given by the Ennis Fire Department. The Medal of Valor is given for: An act of bravery, taken while under minimal risk of personal injury, that results in the saving of human life, or prevents the substantial loss of property.
